Mr. Muzafar Gulistani is an experienced development professional with a strong background in project management and operational leadership in Afghanistan. He joined the HADIA Foundation’s work in early 2019 as a Project Manager and has since played a central role in strengthening the organisation’s operational systems and program delivery across the country.
Prior to joining HADIA, Mr. Gulistani worked on a wide range of development projects implemented by national and international organisations, including initiatives funded by USAID and other major international donors. His experience spans multiple sectors and complex operating environments, providing him with a strong understanding of donor compliance, reporting requirements, risk management, and effective field implementation.
In his role as Director of Operations, Mr. Gulistani oversees all HADIA projects in Afghanistan, including programs in Health, Education, Emergency Aid, and Economic Empowerment. He is responsible for ensuring that projects are planned, managed, and delivered efficiently, transparently, and in line with organisational objectives and donor expectations. He works closely with project teams and senior leadership to ensure that key performance indicators are met and that programs achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes for communities.
Through his strong organisational skills, results-focused approach, and deep local knowledge, Mr. Gulistani plays a critical role in enabling HADIA to deliver high-quality, impactful programs and to respond effectively to the needs of vulnerable populations across Afghanistan.
